Blocking Amber!

Postby Lyria on Fri Aug 29, 2008 7:18 am

If you run on firefox, you can run an ad blocker plug in you can right click on the offending advert and click block the frame, that will stop any advert in that frame apparently, haven't found a solution from IE yet, but then I don't use it, there must be a similar thing you can do though I am sure.

Hope that at least helps some of you!!! :)

If you are running Sunbelt Personal Firewall or Kaspersky Internet Suite 2009 you can block away advertisements. Other firewalls are likely to remove ad's in their webfiltering but those two are the only ones I know about that does that.

Amber is... quite annoying

Get an ad-blocker Sinister, if you run firefox I am sure there is an add on you can get that prevents them, I never get them, I'm pretty sure you can stop them quite easily.
