No you know what Ian ? Rubens is on the same team with Tony Kanan. Turns out they raced carts together as kids.
For the first time in a long time they have incorporated multiple engine providers. Chevy, Honda and Lotus. Lotus being the week sister. Chevy being the strongest.
Rubens has been vocal about challenging his peers to try the ovals. Not as easy as it looks. I predict he will win a race before the season is over.

That is how I tend to catch up with IRL and NASCAR.

Well...missed the Indy car season this year. Did watch a couple of races though. It all looks better. IRL is slowly going back to what CART used to be. Even had an American win the championship !!!

Anyhow, don't know how IRL did on $$$ and viewing figures, but as it appears to be surving the great recession, I hope to see the series grow over the next couple of years. What I would really like to see is a steady flow of new up and coming drivers (American and foriegn) that will re-invigorate the series. We shall see what the series hold over the next couple of years.

What happened with Rubens and Sebastian Bourdias? They didn't make much of a statement this year.

Dario is probably due to retire soon anyway.

Sort of. Ashley Judd for Senate! Heck, Judd President, Franchitti for First Gentleman.

Frankly, Mrs. Franchitti... put your hands up, this is a robbery!
