Dario Frachitti retires due to injuries

Postby f1datavis on Thu Nov 14, 2013 10:00 pm

A very sad day - Dario is forced to retire after his injuries in Houston. Really feel for him, but it is bittersweet. He's still around to make the decision after an accident that any other day would have killed him.

That is a real shame. Always really liked him and the way that he drove. At 40 he was getting due to retire anyway, but always nicer to be by your own choice. I hope he is not too badly banged up.

Just watched a video of the accident - it is frightning.

Wish him all the best with his future endeavours.

It is a shame he has to retire.

I didn't realise until last weekend when it got mentioned on tv, apparently he's cousin to Paul Di Resta. You live and learn don't you?
