Watching a ball fly back and forth...nahh....almost as bad as watching cars go around lap after lap...who would want to watch that? :eh:

I like M. Sharapova in every aspect but when we talk about pure tennis I never prefer ladies. They have no good competition. Last day Djokovic Seppi match for example. A great match. Federer Nadal and Djokovic are very enjoyful to watch. I like to see them if they are playing tennis. But I like to see Sharapova where she is :D

I had the pleasure of being at the Nadal v Djokovic final at this years Australian Open. That would probably be the best match I have been too.
Women's tennis is good to watch, often the point can be longer.

Okay, now you're just boasting. I could tell you some stories from back when I was young working as a DJ in Sydney but I'll quote from 1200 Techniques instead:

Hopefully not too many of those stories are from Kings Cross..... Never know what you're getting there.

The only Kings Cross story I have is where a Kiwi mate of mine had to make me :\ to keep me from getting in trouble with the NSW :cop: .

Well here we are at Wimbledon , and once again in an effort by the powers that be to get that utter Wanker Drama queen Murray to a win, I see them manipulating yet one more match so that the other guy is put off his step

I'm completely disgusted by this and I hope that the tennis assoc pull Wimbledon from the circuit as a result.
If that Tosser wins this tournament , it will be the worst worked at travesty in the history of tennis :banghead:

Agree re Murray, but this is unlikely as lawn tennis tournaments were literally invented at the club. It hosted the first in 1870 something. Anyone for Sphairistikè?

I am biased, I used to live in Southfields, where the All England Club is located (it hasn't been in Wimbledon since the 1920s). We used to get in for £5 after 5pm and sit on the hill drinking waiting for all the ticket holders to leave and you could re-purchase them for cheap if play went on late.

They also used to spruce up the local tube station and loads of companies would give away free stuff on my way to work.

So tell me, Paul, how many "disgusting" calls had to be given against Tsonga for that to happen? 8)

Yes, after three consecutive semi-final exits, Andy Murray has finally gone one better, becoming the first Brit to reach the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Final since before the Second World War. THIS TIME, ANDY - THIS TIME!!!! :yay:
