Hi all

Just joined this fine establishment and hope to have some serious and fun discussions with you all.

Always liked Grandprix.com for its no-fuss simplicity and good stories, and the forum seems the same.

Been participating sporadically (hardly at all to be honest) at other forums over the years but most are too big or too full of bickering for good threads to get interesting without derailments etc but here seems like a more civilized place.

I know it sounds lame and untrue but have never had any real favorite teams or drivers per se, although I did win some money on Alonso when he first started racing when I was betting (not anymore), so appreciate his delivering in races. If I could ever meet anybody it would rather be Adrian Newey, not a driver. But generally I like 'good guys' and find feuding or unsportmanlike behavior too old fashioned so welcome newcomers like Ricciardo who seem to be of the new generation who can do without although too early to really say. I also like drivers with a bit of humor of course.

Welcome Balue and it's good to have you among us  :dance2:

I hope you stay and are happy here. We may not have that many regulars here anymore, but it's a place I've tried to leave several times and end up coming back to. I hope you enjoy your time among us 8)

Thanks for the welcome and yeah that is a good snap of Graham Hill who was obviously a top driver with humor and style. :)

A lot of people don't even venture into this section of the forum anymore it seems which is a shame.

You seem to have settled in well Balue, that's good 8)

Would be nice for you to come back, Balue. I would like that, even if I have not agreed always with everything written, but such is life, I guess. Forum is a place where ideas and ideals sometimes collide, we all know that, thus we have to be strong to take it in, just as we can dish it out in return. I have run away from this forum once for very long time, when a locally popular poster called me stupid over my convictions, but that was my mistake to let him, instead refuting his bloated ego. Having thick skin is part of the game. :)
Whatever you do, don’t just do it. Push it forward! [Whitelines]

Who are those people???? I'll get 'em! ;)

Happy Christmas GP regulars, especially the old-timers!
No one reads this, do they? Thought not.

Not everyone is as they at first seemed.

IF I hadn't spent most of xmas trying to sort out my lack of connection to the new service (installing xmas eve was always gonna be a gamble)... Id have posted sooner... as it is...

Greetings and felicitations .... have had a year without ANY Mo'sport... I guess this is how fans drift away...
