1968 French GP. Both cars are Cooper-BRMs. #30 driven by Vic Elford and #32 driven by Johnny Servoz-Gavin.

Oh, darn. I had the exact same words on the tip of my tongue.

Who here doesn't remember Servoz-Gavin (except Adam, of course, who is too young to remember anything before 2009)?

I saw him at Jarama '70 in one of the most fiery crashes ever seen. He arrived last and then retired from F1 after being shocked by the violence of the crash. This made first page for weeks in sporting papers, as all of you probably remember.

That French '68 race was horrible.

Schlesser died at 1968 French GP: a good reason for not using magnesium bodies in racing cars

Hmmm....that was the only F1 race between 1967 and 1970 that had cars #30 and #32 in them.

1969, Monza....Piers Courage & Jo Siffert

A race regarded as the closest top 4 finish with just 2 tenths covering the top four. Stewart won by 8 tenths from rindt. Jp beltoise third with Bruce mclaren 4th.
