OK, you are responsible for arranging the right weather for us, OK? 8) :reallyevil:

From 2003 we've had 8 different winners. Perhaps a 9th different winner this year? If so, who could/should it be? Ahh, I know who it's going to be. It will be Buttplug. Damn it. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :angryfire: :yaynot:

While I was aware that there were some changes to the circuit, they have certainly altered the circuit considerably between the Abbey chicane and Woodcote. Circuit's quite a bit longer now as a result, and Charlie Whiting has expressed concerns that a driver going through pit lane might actually gain an advantage over his opponent out on track due to the layout of the new pitlane.

Circuit diagram here :

It will be a learning curve for all the teams, in addition to fiddling with the car to stabilize it in the wake of the FIA regulation change on blown diffusers.

F1.com now reverses it's weather prediction, with Friday and Saturday being sunny and Sunday being overcast, but no rain. :yaynot:

Autosport predicts that all 3 afternoons will see rain.

Over to you, Lyria for the latest reports.

Thanks Dev, 8) okay, checking the weather now, and here we go

Friday 19C light showers
Saturday 21C light showers
Sunday 21C dry with sunny intervals

So that is pretty much what they have been saying for the last couple of days and they got today right for me, so that should be how it's going to be, Sorry people, not forecast to be a wet race after all.

I am hoping for sunny weekend. ;)

If true it will encourage more pit stops, or you could simply drive every lap trough pit-lane. :D
Listen, it was hard enough to drive those heavy old cars back then under normal circumstances, but with a crazed monkey clawing you at the same time, it becomes nearly impossible! http://www.timflock.com/jocko.htm

Exactly, so what's the problem? :rotflmao: :rotflmao: The drivers might actually be keen on Drive Through penalties, for a change :hihi:

Isn't this the best situation of all? I'd rather that both myself and the teams not have a clue when, how hard, and even WHERE the rain is going to fall on the track. That would be more challenging and exciting than constant rain throughout, and also means less chance of a washout like Montréal (or the Scottish Open golf today). It might also give McLaren a second chance since they done goofed their qualifying.

I'm not optimistic at all about McLarens chances. Looks like they have suffered most from the recent rule changes. :yaynot: :yaynot:

The Ferraris have made a net gain, while the Red Bulls seem to have lot some pace but are just about hanging in there. Renaults look like they are suffering too.

Hoping for rain, but not sure how much that would help McLaren.

Alonso looks good (and I mean it genuinely this time). I sense that wet and dry the Ferrari will be strong.

Here's to a good race.

so much for RB never using team orders.
I clearly remember Christian saying last year that RB will never use Team orders like ferrari.
